ikigai  What is your reason for getting out of bed in the morning?
Besides an alarm clock or having to go to the bathroom, I mean.

What defines you?  What do you love?  What gives you purpose?

In Okinawa Japan they have a term I learned recently, Ikigai, which roughly translated means “your reason for getting out of bed in the morning.”  People who live a really long time tend to have an ikigai.

meaning of lifeHow can we find our purpose?  What can we use to define how we see ourselves?
Does God have anything to say on the matter?  Did Jesus?

This weeks episode is another short one.  We hope you like it.

  • I like the Love the Lord with all thine heart scripture, but I have just recently come to a fuller understanding/realization of the second part of the verse, …and thy neighbor as thyself. By this I was thinking of my Bro. and Sis. in Christ. That connection/fellowship. A little odd but then again not, that the fellowship is one of a connect that we have and the one that I have the connection with doesn’t even have to be present. But rather, He that Sanctifieth and they that are Sanctified are all of one. A heartfelt connection with the body of Christ. This brings meaning to life. A sense of belonging to something really special.
